I don't know about how soon to readminister, but have you seen the pacifier medicine dispensers? (http://www.buybuybaby.com/product.asp?SKU=16327182&RN=7127&)
I was with my nephew when we tried to give him some baby tylenol.... I've never, ever seen throw up like that. Everyone in the room needed to strip down. When I have a baby I'm absolutely getting the pacifier one.

I agree with PP and wouldn't give your LO any more medicine until it's time for the next dose.

Ugh - I'm going through the same thing right now! So far, we just give it to her really slowly (like, over 20 minutes) and that's been helping to keep it down. If she does throw it back up, we don't give her any more.

We had this exact thing happen in December. I called the doctor and they said to wait until next dose for two reasons. 1) the medicine is absorbed quickly 2) you have no way of knowing how much of it the LO got vs lost to know what to re-administer.

I fed LO then gave her some of the antibiotic that she was prescribed...then I had a vomit bath a few minutes later. Do you usually give another dose right away or just wait til the next time?
