I am never able to get them back to sleep when they wake up early from naps. Maybe a few times when they were sick.

The other day, I was driving my niece home from a playdate and we were only 10 minutes away and she totally passed out in the car! I tried everything to keep her awake. Sing songs, open the windows, turn up the music, ask her questions, wiggle her leg... everything!

So she had a 10 minute nap because of course she wakes up when I get her out of the car. I finally had to make her lay in bed and rub her back/forehead for 15-20 minutes to get her to take a nap.

Not really, when the LO is done with a nap, that's usually it.

I cannot AT ALL. Only a handful of times when I made her CIO has she been able to soothe herself to sleep. But anything after 30 minutes, she's up for good. SIGH.

My mom and MIL can, they just pat LO on the back with a shush and he goes back to sleep. But when he sees me, he just wants to be picked up and gets worse if I don't.

Wow, lucky!! A lot of times I'd let Wagon Jr. cry for a little while and he'd fall back asleep. But for the most part, once he's up, he's up... especially now that he's older.

Yes, if she has slept for less than an hour and a half I put her back to bed because she gets super cranky if she doesn't get her 2 hours.

I used to be able to when DD was younger, but I haven't been able to do that since she was a little over a year. The worst is when she falls asleep in the car, and we have to try and transfer her to her bed without waking her up.

sometimes... often what wakes him up is him spitting up and being uncomfortable wet. so I clean him up, rock/nurse and he goes back to sleep.

I used to be able to sometimes when he was younger, but now at a year I can't :/ it's the worst when he wakes up early and I know we're messed up for the whole day!

I know LO needs more sleep if she wakes crying/whining and if I look at the clock and she's slept less than 40 minutes.

Usually I can get her back to sleep by nursing her a little bit and lying next to her. She woke up after sleeping for 30 mins. Luckily I got her back down!
