Usually LO will sleep til 7:30am. If she wakes before 7, I'll wait for her to fall back asleep!

Same with @artbee. More often than not (these days), LO will wake up at around 6:15am and half-babble/half-whine but I won't go to her...70% of the time she'll start yelling for me by 6:45 or 7 but the other 30% she actually falls back asleep.

If it's before 7 and there's no crying, we let her stay. She usually falls back asleep.

My LO went through a phase of early wake ups but she always woke up bawling so I just went and got her. If she wasn't crying or yelling for me, I would leave her.

If Charlie wakes up and it's still 4:30 or 4:45, then I usually wait a little while to see if he can get back to sleep. The only exception is if he wakes up absolutely bawling. Then I will go get him right away.

Since I adopted this policy, I've been pleasantly surprised. Sometimes Charlie will get back to sleep fairly quickly, and then sleep an extra 3 hours or so! When he does that, I go back to bed too and my own sleep feels so much sweeter. :-)
