The 'normal' range goes until 17 months, so there's no need to even worry until 18. I'd be concerned about a child who seemed to have global physical delays, but if they're progressing towards it, no need to stress. </p> <p>Mine did everything on the very latest end of normal (crawled at 12 months, walked at 16), and now at 3, she's the strongest, my physically capable child I know. 16, 17 months - this is still 'normal'. He crawled at 7.5 months and pulled up and cruised at 9/10 and would walk holding one of our hands and with his walker and then showed no interest in walking on his own til 14.5! But he then just started walking and within a week was walking everywhere no crawling! He never once had a big spill either. I think he was just really cautious about it! Your situation sounds a lot like DD, it was just a confidence thing. She would walk with her walker and walk with us holding onto one of our fingers for a good 2 months before she did it on her own. I bet your LO will be really stable when she walks.
