I do, but my DD is pretty mid-range and sometimes barely eats anything. I manage what she gets more of, however - if plows through one thing on her plate, but hasn't touched the others, I don't give her more of the first thing until she has eaten some of the others.

@Pumuckl: same!

She can always have more meal food, but if it's a snack I cut her off.

Usually yes but if it a snack then no cause I don't want her to not eat dinner. Esp. since dinner is a battle to get her to eat anything other then carbs.

It depends...
If it's the appetizer then one portion is enough.
If it's the main course and he is still hungry he can have more.

LO eats so little that I would never cut her off if she wanted more of an actual meal. But I do cut her off for snacks and "appetizer" like things so she doesnt fill up for the actual meal.

It depends! Usually it's Xander wanting more crackers, so I don't give in since they have little to no nutritional value. Or if it's closer to a meal time, I don't want him to fill up on something else and then not eat his meats/veggies/etc. But if it's during a meal and he's still hungry, I'll give him another pouch or more carrots or whatever.

I let him. I feel like he knows when to stop and doesn't overeat, even for things like sweets.

Yep! I figure if they are hungry they can eat!

However in your situation if the yogurt was like an app and the meal was coming I would say no, breakfast will be ready in a few minutes!

Yes. Is there a reason not to? My son is pretty good about determining when he is full.

do you give it to them?

The last couple of mornings, DS has been begging for more yogurt AFTER he finishes off a whole yogurt (adult single size) serving!

He also drinks almond milk in the morning and has a waffle/sausage/fruit bfast soon thereafter! So I've "cut him off" after the one.
