This might be irrelevant since it was so long ago but my son was born at 35 weeks, no NICU time, we went home after 2 days. We did have to do tube feeding which is normal for 35 weekers.

DS was exactly 36 weeks, so not quite what you're asking, and spent 7 days in the NICU. He had a CPAP to help him with his breathing for a little and had jaundice and temperature issues.

LO was 35 + 2, and had a 2 week stay in the NICU to gain weight. He was only 3 lbs 14 oz when born, and I think around 4 lbs 3 oz when we left.

32w, 2 months initially.

A good rule of thumb is that the baby will probably be in the NICU until they reach term (36-40w)

My son was born at 34+3 and spent 22 days in the NICU to feed/grow. He was even born 6lb 11oz. He only had one day of light therapy for jaundice but really had a hard time meeting the requirements of getting everything by mouth and not tube feeds.

35 weeks. He stayed for 13 days. I pumped while he was in the hospital but put him to breast as much as I could. We are 13 months out and still nursing strong. He was born with some scary breathing issues and had trouble keeping his body temp.

C was a 33 weeker and spent 2 weeks in the NICU (he had a lot of breathing issues at first, then jaundice and an infection, and had no latch for the first week, but rallied enough to come home before his due date). I pumped and put him to breast repeatedly while he was in the NICU and he eventually got the hang of BF.
