We just installed ceiling fans in both rooms. I remember last summer it was really tough though, so I guess we shall see!</p> <p>I also have light blocking curtains that I keep closed (just in her room) and a ceiling fan. Our apartment was supposed to have central air, turns out we happened to get the only unit without it. Otherwise the rooms get pretty hot, and the kids are likely to wake up sweating!</p> <p>Problem is that when the doors are open, the kids are much more likely to wake up in the middle of the night and then wander over to where I'm sleeping. Not sure how to fix that one, other than with a fan.</p> <p>If your LO's bedroom doesn't have air conditioning, how do you keep them cool at night? </p>
