It hasn't fallen out, but it has lightened up considerably. I'd say it's dark blonde now. Still a very dark brown. We had to get his haircut at six months :( and he's had two moer since! Now, at 13 months, he still has a ton of hair, but it's much lighter brown. Never really fell out - it just got a little thinner in the ring around his head from laying on it. She was born with sort of a mullet (much less up top than the back) and it's thickened a little bit, but hasn't changed. It goes from darker to medium brown depending on the light you look at her in. The only loss we've had is the patch where her head rubs the mattress. It thinned, but is filling back in, and I swear in the right light I can see blonde in there now with the mix of medium brown hair!! The fading of the hair colour has been crazy, I was all up on whether or not her eyes would stay blue and didn't even consider hair changing colour! It did thin out a bit, and when he was rubbing his head against the bed, he went bald. It started growing back around 4/5 months. Most of it fell out and he now has medium brown hair. DD's hair is very dark on the top and lighter, almost reddish on the sides. She's only 12 weeks, so I'm very curious to see what happens to it in the next few months. It was short and dark brown when she was born. I think it will stay dark like mine (I was also born with lots of dark hair). Not much of hers has fallen out, it seems just a bit thinner and she's rubbed some off in the back from turning her head while laying on her back -- but it has gotten a lot longer so she's currently sporting a baby fauxhawk, which I find stinkin' adorable.
