For my second I woke up to contractions and had them for 19 hours. My water bag broke when I was dilated to a 7 and kept breaking. Like new pockets would burst. Contractions started an hour later and she was born 3.5 hours later.<br /> With #2 my contractions started first ( around 2pm) they broke my water around 7cm and she was born about 30 mins later. With my daughter my water broke pre-labor at 36w2d, but I had a feeling that labor was going to happen soon because 1. It happened early for me already 2. I was super swollen like I was right before I had my son and 3.
