Then the kitchen... usually if the house is a mess it is because of those 2 rooms. Somehow it's easier when I just have to wipe down surfaces and give them a little scrub, but don't have to make decisions about where to put things. It's where my family spends the majority of their time plus it's the first thing you see when you walk in the door. Next I move on to the living room, kitchen, and if I have time move on to H's room and the bathrooms. Our room is always behind a closed door so I don't worry about it. Its in the back of the house, and I slowly move junk towards the front, then upstairs to where it will be stored/hidden. Although.. I make my bed every single day. I find that if the beds are made, everything seems a little less visually cluttered and my sanity can take a little more intact.
