I went on Opentable and searched what places in our area had open reservations and chose between those 5 or so places. We usually eat at middle of the road chains (like tgi Fridays, Olive Garden, Red Lobster) but those don't take reservations and we're sure they'll be way too packed. We've been meaning to try something locally run so who knows, it may end up being our new favorite place. They just called to confirm our reservation which was very nice of them. It's affiliated with a park that is the site of our kayak activity.
