It was at a church we don't usually go to but was the best option time-wise and we were a little disappointed. It wasn't geared towards children and whole thing was very somber rather than joyous. It's tradition to always go to the 10 pm mass on Christmas Eve. Then we come home and open presents at midnight. I'm going to stay home and try to catch some sleep before presents. LO is 4 months. They have singing beforehand and are going to save us seats so that LO doesn't have to sit through 2+ hours of church just to get a seat. I'm going to miss midnight mass for the next couple of years.
