We told people we were Team Green, but really we found out we were having a girl pretty early on. It wasn't something we'd planned on doing and it's definitely not for everyone! </p> <p>I think we did it because when I was pregnant, I felt like everyone wanted to know everything and give their opinion. We are pretty private and it was nice to have something that was just for my husband and I, at least for a few months. Also, we were trying to avoid getting a ton of pink stuff!</p> <p>I was so proud - we did not slip up once! The only time we sort of gave it away was when a good friend guessed that we knew and weren't telling. I was so surprised, I didn't even deny it. I didn't want to til birth. I let him know though under the condition that he tell no one. And everyone knew of our plan. Sure some people thought it was weird... Some people also doubted that he could keep it a secret and not slip up... But it worked out really well. My hubby though is super good at being ambiguous and keeping secrets.
