@Rubies: If you're bfeeding still, I wouldn't worry too much about passing it on to the LO. From what I've heard/read, your immunity will be passed onto the baby. (Bfeeding is awesome!)

I had a somewhat minor cold once and was terrified that I'd pass it onto LO who was only a few months old at the time...he got a sniffly nose but that was about it.

@Andrea: @Cchoi4: The earliest hubs can be home is 4:30pm but it's not worth it since LO is in bed by 6pm. Sad! The thing is, I can suffer through the day but if I end up passing this cold onto LO, I'll be so smad (sad+mad) at the world! :)

I SOOOO wish we had this kind of support. Thankfully if Wagon Jr. is not sick himself he can go to school now which is great. Back when I was a SAHM Wagon Sr. had to come home early or take days off a lot, which was tough for him. His work is family friendly but he's been under a lot of pressure lately and he doesn't like how it makes him look when he has to take time off last minute.

With my neck spasm I so wish my mom were close by to come cook food for us and take care of me so that Wagon Sr. could just take care of Wagon Jr. I'm really looking forward to when she comes when this baby is born! I've prepped her to basically stay for 6 months straight, taking breaks whenever she wants to (paying for plane tickets for her to go home would be a lot cheaper than paying for childcare!!) and she's ready to do so!

Oh no, hope you feel better!

My dad is my mom's boss so she's almost always able to get off work if I need help. But if she can't, my FIL will. Problem is that LO screams at him (stranger anxiety) so then I just spend the whole time upset that LO is upset and it stresses me out even more.

If I'm really really bad, then I call either my mom or stepmom. But luckily we haven't had that problem since LO was 2 months old. Back when LO was super little, husband went on an out of town trip. We had his parents and my parents help me while I was battling a 105 fever. Husband came home a day early when he found out.

I hope you feel better soon, Rubies! Can your husband leave work a little early today?

I've been battling a head/sinus cold and exhaustion and today I feel like I just can't take care of LO by myself. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to help me take care of LO (usually my mom might be able to come but she can't today) and I feel so crappy.

Do you have immediate help if you needed it?
