We have one- its been great for us- the only flaw (well to me) is that I am constantly tripped over the legs- maybe its just me- but they are angled out and I tend to not be paying attention a lot of the time! ;-)

@spaniellove: I love it because it's ONE solid piece of plastic. The fancy ones have fabric and all these crevices and nooks for food to hide and rot and that's just so gross to me. I like knowing there's nowhere for food to hide and I can clean it easily. I can also store it by disassembling it and putting into a box for my next kid. And $15. You can't beat that.

We have a Leander highchair as our primary highchair at home that grows with LO but the IKEA one is the one we have at grandparents' and great-grandma's. Love it - it's really easy to clean and super light-weight. Also we have disassembled it a couple of times to take it to places which is really easy too.

I don't have one, but lots of restaurants here do, so I have used them often! You can't beat it for style and price and it is totally functional.

That said, I decided on a Tripp Trapp because I wanted something that would last beyond babyhood. My son was definitely too big for the Antilop by 16/18 months.

Love that it is so easy to clean and doesn't take up much space.

I do trip on it quite often though when DS is in it.

My mom bought one for her house too.

I think for what you pay they are a good chair.

We have one at home and also use the one at @oliviaoblivia:'s. As she said, the straps broke on that one and my LO used to climb out of it and dance on the tray and seriously give me a heart attack. But we have had no problems at all with the one at home, other than I struggle to get the tray off. I wouldn't bother with the cushion you can buy for it, it gets clarted with food straight away.

@spaniellove: that is not the cushion I got to go with it. I found the cushion a pain because it gets dirty immediately and then I put in the laundry and couldn't use it for a few days. During those few days I discovered it was not necessary at all, nor did I want to keep creating more laundry, so I never used it again.

I have it and am 100% satisfied, even given the minor complaint that I find the straps hard to clean. but the rest is so easy to clean it wins out. We have taken it travelling too (by car) as it is so easy to take apart and put together.

My mom bought one for her apartment too so even though they are discontinuing I guess I can get it from her if I ever need a second one!

The tray drove me bonkers for the longest time until I finally figured out how to take it off. now it's easy. Though once LO got older, we stopped using the tray altogether and just push the chair to our table (it is the perfect height for our table). The cushion was a waste of $5.

Love them! I'd buy an extra tray if they have them, just nice to have a spare.

@QBbride: I pull out on the 4 inside tabs (just above the leg holes) and apply slight upward pressure on the outside of the tray with my other hand. It doesn't take a lot of force. Then lift up and towards me to pull the hooks out at the elbows. With practice I can get it off really easily!

We have an antilop and a Tripp trapp. There are pluses and minuses to both. I don't like how much space the legs take up with the antilop and found my self tripping over it way more than I did with the tripp trapp. The straps on our also broke fairly soon after purchase and I found that really irritating. For the price though it's amazing.

We love ours! We got the padded insert started to use it around 4 months, although not with food (we started solids at 6 months). It's so easy to use, and I love that I can hose it off when it's really dirty. My MIL even got one for her house.

We just got one but question, how do you get the tray off? Is there a special trick? That's my one complaint, the tray is really difficult to get off.

Also, I find the edge of tray kind of far from my son (with our other high chair I could push the tray right up to him). He self-feeds so a lot of food falls on his lap.

For the price though, it's great! And I actually like the way it looks.

@spaniellove: i don't know about this chair for when they're infants but my Aunt/Uncle had these for us when we went to visit them in FL for a week, my twin girls were 19 months and I loved these.

They were very easy to clean, to move around, they had the padded insert which helped w/ extra wiggle room, and I also liked that they're a pretty great height.

Also, the girls seemed to stay seated for quite a while [they loved that their legs dangled, lol] leaving us to enjoy our meal while we put some toys, drawing tools, play-doh on their trays!!!

Loved it. We often just took it outside after meals to hose it off. Still use it without the tray pulled up to the table. LO was sitting independently by the time she started solids, so we didn't miss a recline option and never felt the need for padding. They do sell a separate pad though.
