We used to have Poang chairs. I found them very uncomfortable because the headrest was the wrong height for me. I suggest trying it out before you buy.

Great, thanks guys! Ours would be in a corner too so sounds like it would be fine.

Ours is in the corner so it doesn't tip back but it annoys me because it slides forward a lot when she climbs in.

My 2.5 year old has never flipped ours.

Granted she's on the light side and the chair is in a cirnwr if the nursery, but she does climb up in it(and has a friend who always wants to stand in it) and it seems relatively stable

We have a glider in my 2 year old daughter's room and lately she has been almost flipping it over because she tries to climb up by herself. We'd love to move it to baby #2's room anyway, so are looking to buy a new chair.

I've always liked the price and look of the Ikea Poang chair, but I'm wondering if it also has the tendency to flip if your toddler climbs in it?

Thanks!
