A lingering cold she has been fighting for about a month. Yesterday at daycare she coughed until she vomited, so my husband had to leave work (I couldn't get to her until late in the day!) and cuddle her all day. She hasn't slept through the night since Nov. 20 (not that I am counting), and is utterly exhausted. I have been cuddling her so much that I caught her germs, and have a cough/sore throat too, and have been fighting it for about a week. Good times!</p> <p>My only concern is that we are supposed to be my my ILs for Christmas, and my FIL has some fairly advanced cancer, and is undergoing chemo, so if any of us are sick, we can't really be there. He's on antibiotics while DH and I are riding it out, working from home.<br /> We're all vaccinated, too! I got my Tdap in pregnancy like a good mama, DH had his, and LO's up to date but hasn't finished the series (he's only 6 months). Supposedly that should help to keep it milder. Mr. Frog (with the immune system of the proverbial horse) got sick first, overnight. Vomiting and diarrehea. He was done with it by morning, but was not well enough to much other than lay in bed, and he actually used a sick day. </p> <p>He figured it was from bad Thanksgiving leftovers, and we purged the refrigerator.</p> <p>Against my better judgement, I'd pleasured him orally and I believe it was a stomach bug because I caught it. I hadn't eaten the suspected leftovers. </p> <p>My bout lasted a bit longer, and was awful. It's a terrible feeling as an adult to get that primal "oh my god I can't breathe" panic because your stomach is so violently emptying itself you can't inhale.
