I've never been a baby person. I love my son's age now (almost 2).

My daughter is almost 2 months old now, and I have loved every second of it. If she were to stay this age forever, it would be fine with me. That being said, I do not like other peoples babies or kids. I guess I love my own baby, and thats it.

My grandma is a total baby person, and one of my friends is as well. Everyone else - including me - prefers 6 months and up. I do love the milk drunk faces and passed out snuggles, I like to hold other babies for a while, and I can IMAGINE being a baby person to one of my own. But I'm 2 for 2 on reflux-y, MSPI babies, so I am happy to hustle out of the baby stage for my own.

I was a baby person, but I got a son who was not into being a baby, if that makes sense? I got a colicky reflux terrorist baby that gave me PTSD, PDD, and PAA from the non. stop. screaming and he's NEVER liked snuggling, being held, being swaddled, cosleeping, nursing, or anything baby related. He basically quit bottles at 9 months. He's intense. At each point he's been able to move more freely and independently he's become a happier human being - I think he was just frustrated at not being able to do what he wanted to do. I hope our next baby is sweeter and more laid back because I DO like snuggles and what not.

I am a baby person but only with my own...other people's babies are hard! I'm not with them constantly so their coos and cries are like a foreign language to me. I know when mine need a snuggle or milk or sleep, etc.!

I do love looking at other babies and holding them! But otherwise, I like older kids better. I think 5 is my favorite age. I can understand them, and play, make them laugh, and they aren't super emotional like toddlers!

I love my baby and would love to have another but have no interest in holding or entertaining, cleaning up, feeding, someone else's baby. I mean, I'll gladly do it with love for a friend, but it's not something I would just do because I love to do it.

I love toddlers, preschoolers and kids though. I love to draw with them, talk to them, play sports with them, etc. I love that.

I do love babies, how could you not? My husband also surprised me by being a huge baby person, even when he'd flat out said that what he was excited for was a kid he could go on adventures with. But he was just a total natural with our daughter from the moment she was born. We're both stoked to have another baby soon.

I guess in this context, I would say I am a total baby person! I have no problem holding babies, I love cooing and playing with babies, and just cuddling with them. BUT, for myself... after I became a mom... I could not wait to get out of the baby stage! So, I do love babies... but they are hard work, and I prefer the toddler and beyond stages so much more!

I am a baby person for T, I have enjoyed it way more than I thought since I was not/am not much of a baby person with other people's kids. Even at my baby shower it did not occur to me to hold my friends 3 week old that she brought or another friends six month old. There is one baby I was smitten with (@littlejoy has an ah-mazing little human) as well as my nephews.

I love the baby phase of my own DD, she's 4 mo and sleeping on me now. The stretches, gummy smiles and cooing are the best.

I dunno. I definitely enjoy interacting with my son more now that he's almost 3, but I definitely look back on the newborn/baby days with fuzzy nostalgia...but I think I've just mentally rewritten how hard it was :) I feel like I'm struggling a lot now, though, with the newly found independence and defiance and attitude. I'm exhausted!

D is definitely not a baby person. He loved E, of course, but he definitely got more involved the older and more interactive he got. He says he's looking forward to like age 5 (he used to work in a daycare and said that class was his favorite age group...)

I found out fast with LO1 that I am not a baby person. I was dreading the newborn stage with LO2 but I've found that I like it more the 2nd time around. Granted we're only 3 weeks in. He is much calmer and no signs of colic yet. I'm also in a better place knowing that this stage is short and he'll grow so fast. I've found that I talk to him so much more than I talked to LO1 since I'm thinking of him more as my kid-to-be than as a newborn blob. Maybe I'll be a baby person after all.

I just love how my almost 3 year old can talk to me, tell me what's wrong, etc. I told someone yesterday that I can't wait to go back to work and they looked at me like I had seven heads.
