Classes weren't cancelled, but DH spent nearly two hours digging out the car, and surprisingly enough our apartment must have called a plow and they were plowing the lot at 12am last night! SO HAPPY. I left early cause the roads were still bad but I made it on time and took my exams. I still talked to my professor (she hadn't gotten my email!) and she commiserated and said she was shoveling her driveway at 10pm just so she could pull into her garage haha.</p> <p>@Anagram: I do think that most often those policies are a result of people abusing a teacher's kindness- so it must be put into the syllabus - but more than likely they will be sympathetic to the students who have done well, participated, etc and real-life circumstances really do get in the way.</p> <p>@snowjewelz: surprisingly enough, no one missed class/the exams! So that's a good thing. Its so stressful. We got a mini snow storm in Seattle two months ago and got stuck out at dinner with my friend. With all the steep hills we have here it wasn't safe to drive home (not to mention that the city of Seattle only owns like 3 snow plows!) so I had to take the bus. It took me a long time to get home and I was still pumping at the time. So stressful! And I didn't even have a test the next day!</p> <p>I know its a lot of snow but can anyone shovel out your car?
