@Emsmems: She was SUPER happy this morning, so I have no idea what that was all about, lol. Maybe she was delirious.

I think it might've been teething because her 2nd bottom tooth is nearly through, but I gave her motrin and that didn't seem to help like it did for her 1st tooth. She also had brown rice for the first time last night. And a bunch of salmon, but she's had that a couple times before. Her nose is running this morning now. Do babies get runny noses when they're about to cut a tooth?

We've had a bunch of rough nights lately. I think she hit the 9 month regression a little late and I'm SO ready for her to be done with it.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: @Honeydew: I was reading the "9 month" sleep regression can happen anywhere from 8-10 months. We were going through the multiple wake ups 2 weeks ago, and I couldn't do it anymore and function at work, so we did CIO last week for MOTN wakeups. Life changer! BUT, he wasn't staying awake with his wakeups, just nursed back to sleep. So I have no advice, just that I felt you pain the last few weeks! Sorry your sleep is so crappy :(. I hope that she gets through whatever is going on and it improves soon!

@raintreebee: @Honeydew: Maybe it's a common 8 month thing? 9 month sleep regression early? I really want a cup of coffee! hope this doesn't become a regular thing.

Her eyes were still puffy this morning when she woke up. :(

@abbydabbydoodlebug My LO (8.5 mos) went through the same thing the past 2 weeks. He woke up various times and needed to be rocked to sleep for hours on end, which is not usual for him.

Then he started to wake at 4-5 am wanting to play. This week he went back to his regular schedule. Thank goodness!

I got four hours of sleep with my 8 month old too! Have no idea why he was awake half the night. Feel like I could keel over at work.

@tinyperson: she's 8 months. She's never done anything like this, ever. I really hope she not getting sick and that it's just some freak teething night. I got about 4 hours sleep because she woke up early of course. And I can't have coffee because it drops my supply.

Thinking I should put a "stay away. Cranky mama bear" sign around my neck.

@twodoghouse: haha. I think we need a sleepy emoticon! @spartysammy: hugs. :( I was about to pull my hair out last night. Had to take many deep breaths so I didn't do something I would regret. It was hard.

Four month sleep regression here! Went from 4-5 hour stretches at night to up even 1-2 hours. I am spent emotionally and physically. I have no clue what to do

@abbydabbydoodlebug: how old? We've been up with our 22 month 5 out of 7 nights like that. She wants to go downstairs for yo yo (yogurt) and if we put on the tv she cuddles in and we can take her up to bed in an hour or so. I got 2 hrs last night. We're all sick (have been for 3 weeks now) but she isn't coughing that much during these wake ups or seeming to be in pain...

I'm awake! Not too bad of a night - just the usual 3-5 wake ups per baby per night. I'm going to pretend this shocked emoticon is a huge yawn.

I am awake with a very punctual 4:14 every morning little man in my belly! Mind you he's quiet but I am in great fear for when he gets out ha ha! Hope you were all able to get some rest when things settled down at your homes.

Yup. It's been a rough day and night. 4 week old took two 30 minutes naps. I tried every trick in my parenting book. She finally fell asleep around 10pm. 2 wake ups? 3? Can't remember between then and 4am.
Then my 29m was having bad dreams and daddy had to sleep with her for a few hours.

I hope tomorrow/today is a better nap day because I was ready to pull my hair out or jump out a window!

@anonysquire: ouch! 4 month sleep regression is the worst. Hang in there. Hopefully it'll be over soon!

@erinpye: thanks <3

Went in and put her sleep sack back on and nursed her again. She fell asleep and I'm crossing my fingers it's for good! 4.5 hours of on and off crying/sleeping is no good. Hopefully this is a fluke! We are going on our first road trip this weekend. Not a good time for a sleep regression. :(

So it's almost 2 am and DD has been awake since a little after 10. Just crying crying crying. I've given her motrin, rocked her to sleep I don't know how many times, nursed to sleep, took off her sleep sack in case she was hot, changed her diaper in case she was dirty, rocked her some more... I don't know what else to do! Oh and rocking = marching around her room holding her vertically because she won't let me sit down. Fun.

Anyone else having a rough (extremely rough) night?
