But I totally feel you. I gave up my 2 kitties when DH and I got married and I moved in with him. He's not a "pets inside house" sort of person (raised that way, whole family like that) and didn't really get along with them (hated one more than the other, but didn't like the longer hair/shedding of the other one). My parents took one and my grandparents took the other, so I still see them and know they're doing very well. Very lucky that both parties were willing to take them on for me (parents already had 2 cats and grandparents didn't really want to get a cat again) so that might be why I don't resent DH for it.<br /> Sometimes, you have to do the hard things for a marriage/relationship to work well and is best for all parties. DH keeps tripping over the cat &amp; has fallen several times down the stairs. There are other issues such as DH hating the cat &amp; them bickering like two grumpy old men. Mostly its because of DH's safety that I have decided to put him up. I would never forgive myself if he got seriously hurt or if he tripped holding one of the babies. Its NOT worth the risk. </p> <p>But he is my fur baby &amp; I have had him for years! I feel like I adopted this kid &amp; I am sending it back to foster care for acting like a child. Its not fair to the cat. Really can't DH just watch where he is going or just put the stuff away that he don't want the cat getting into?</p> <p>I'm done with the arguments. I will house him until the adoption agency can find a placement for him. </p> <p>:-( </p>
