I leave a signed note for UPS or FEDEX if I'm expecting something, I don't open the door unless I know you're coming. I am the master at quietly running and contorting myself so I can see who it is! We have two yorkies who go batshit crazy when they hear a doorbell ring (even if its on a commercial! damn you Dominos commercials!) and we haven't been able to train it out of them.
