I had two 60 day cycles before being given Depo to bring on a period. After that, I started charting and while my cycles are irregular, I can see if I'm gearing up for ovulation or having a long cycle. If you are interested in charting, I recommend Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I was speaking to a colleague about this... she had irregular cycles for six months after the pill. She went to the doctor and was diagnosed with PCOS (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycystic_ovary_syndrome" rel="nofollow">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycystic_ovary_syndrome</a>). She is of Asian descent, so she didn't have some of the usual markers of too many androgens like weight gain or facial hair, but when the doctors did a check they found that she was not ovulating at all. My first couple cycles were within the "normal" range (29 to 31 days) then once i guess my body really realized the synthetic hormones have truly left the body, and started to try to remember to make its own, it went nuts. I have had cycles from 33 to 47 days since then, with no pattern, and just when it was stabilizing I got my BFP which ended in a miscarriage. I "regulated" but my "regular" is basically never ovulating or getting a period lol. By my 140 day cycle (6 months after stopping HBC) I was probably "regulated" as it seems the left over hormones from the pill was the only thing giving me AF at all.</p> <p>I have read that it can take up to a year to regulate. It is totally possible you are just having one weird cycle though. I had 3 cycles within 30 days, then a 40 day one, then a 60 day one and then a 140 day one. It's possible your body is still adjusting from being off the pill, even 6 months later.</p> <p>It is also possible you just O'd later than normal so this cycle is a little bit longer. Are you charting/using OPKs? Do you have any idea when you ovulated?</p> <p>I suggest taking a HPT once a week until you either get AF or a BFP. I was at around 30 days for 3 cycles then last month it was 41 days! Needless to say, I was doing a lot of POAS with BFN but eventually AF showed. (We aren't TTC) I have no idea what to expect this month, its very frustrating.
