It's certainly not dangerous, and it's efficacy is impressive, but the side effects- constant spotting in particular- are a pain to deal with. Keep in mind everyone has a different response to hormones so it might work wonders for some people! Obviously I wouldn't hear about the good ones.. only the frustrated people coming in to have theirs removed. I kept it in for 3 years, which I think was the time limit, and then had it removed.
