It's bern 3 months and I'm still "spotting" which is almost a full pad or tampon everyday and I am SO sick of it! My doctor seems to like the implant better. Also, I know someone who has spotting for 6 months with her IUD. And someone else who had to go to the ER in pain to find that her IUD had turned upside down. She said the irregular bleeding isn't just spotting, it's full on blood flow &amp; not just when you start it, the irregular bleeding can happen the whole time you have it. There was also some TMI convo in my FB feed recently where some ladies were complaining about theirs and a bunch commenting that they had theirs removed because it gave them miserable side effects. The Nexplanon is only good for 3 years and a fair number if women have irregular bleeding on it. We are 90% sure we're done having kids but will reassess in a few years so I want something easy. </p>
