I had something similar happen with brown spotting a couple of months ago. How many days has it been since the spotting? My husband and I have been TTC for about a year now experiencing a MC at 7 weeks back in May (found out at our 10 week appointment) and an ectopic in late September. This cycle AF was due on the 19th but last week I thought maybe it was early because I experienced 3 days of dark brown spotting. I am not fully convinced it was my period because I never needed anything more than a panty liner and saw only a little bit of red during the time. I have taken two HPT (last one taken yesterday morning) both negative. Anyone experienced something similar? I'm wondering if it could have been implantation and maybe I tested early. </p>
