Haha, that's hilarious! I've been slowly adding stuffed animals to the crib so when I move her out to a bed she might take it better, and she throws out the new animal EVERY time! It takes a couple weeks before she accepts the new addition to her pack

Haha, too cute!

We have two loveys and LO recently has been rejecting the original one. I think it's because it has pilled quite a bit and not as soft as the new one.

haha! funny how kids do that.
we recently lost DD's favorite bunny at the mall and thankfully she's old enough to understand what happened :( she took it so well! I didn't though. :P Totally cried my eyes out and I'm still sad about it.

I bought a new bunny for her and she loves it though!
I considered getting another backup bunny for J since he likes sleeping with his, but I've learned my lesson and bunny ain't leaving the house!

haha! E loves hers sooo much....i started sneaking two in there to get her to love on them. So she now has two wubbanubs that she snuggles with at night. You could sneak New Dalmation in with Old Dalmation and she might take to it more.

I also shove her jellycat giraffe in her bed with her now, too. They walk the plank (aka get thrown out of the crib) far too often :)

Lil Miss Wagon is very attached to her lovey (angel dear dalmatian) and we had 6 of them. They are all getting pretty gross since she drags them around at daycare and sucks on them while she sleeps. We give her a fresh one each night before bedtime but since they're white (bad choice!!) they are quite dingy, despite all my laundering efforts.

During the move we lost one so we were down to 5, and I started getting uncomfortable with less than a week's supply at hand (I do laundry 2-3x a week but what if she spills something or throws up and we have to go through more than one a day??) so I ordered another pair, washed them twice and put them into the rotation, putting our total up to 7. Last night we gave her a new one for the first time, and she TOTALLY knew. She kept touching the "feet" and saying "it's hot" (I think she meant it was fuzzy and soft, instead of nubby and gross like her old ones..) and when Wagon Sr. left the room after putting her down, she threw it out of the crib and cried!

He went back in and gave it back to her and calmed her down, and eventually she fell asleep... but rolled around for almost an hour first, NOT touching it!! I debated for the entire hour whether or not I should go in there and replace it with an old one. Finally she cuddled up to it and fell asleep... but not sucking on it as usual. (Maybe this is the way to get her to stop sucking them!) In the middle of the night she woke up crying and cuddled back up to it. This morning she was treating it as she normally treats her loveys. Wagon Sr. said that the new lovey went through her initiation process of rejection for the first night, so now he's in. Haha.
