I always put my kids in 1/2-1 size bigger shoes.
Nikes stay on really well. We've had good luck with crocs and natives too.

My LO is in between size 5 and 6, and I found some great half size options at Payless.

@Baby Boy Mom: agree! My daughter will fall a bunch for 2 days and then be running with no issues in a day or two! I would put her in the new ones for daycare and just bring the tight ones as a back up this week in case she has problems!

This happens every time we move up a size. After a couple of days they get used to the bigger shoe and stop tripping.

@Smurfette: I think the SKRs run wider? K is still in her 9-12 months, but they are loose in width.

I always put her in shoes looser with socks, so she can wear them longer.

Idk but now I'm afraid LO got my huge feet. We're starting to look for 6s and she doesn't even walk yet.

@Smurfette: I accidentally ordered See Kai Run because I had a brain fart. I need to order Smallers in a 4 but haven't seen anything I loved on sale yet.

Good question...my R's size 4 SKRs are too big for her also but she's almost popping out of the size 3 shoes.

Hm thicker socks? I think skr is cut bigger so maybe it's just too big for her foot shape. I know Lo can't wear skr.

R's size 3 are really tight on her. But I just put size 4 on her and she can walk but has fallen a couple times. I took the inside sole out and measured her foot, and there is one thumb between the end and her toe, which is how Stride Ride said it should be when you first put them in the size. These are See Kai Run shoes.

What do you do between sizes? I can't just put her in flip flops, colder here today and she needs closed toe for day care. Target 4's are huge on her still.
