I love our little rental house, but it was built in 1954, so while it is packed with charm, it is lacking so much in the convenience department. We're renting for another year (lease ends May 2014), and then buying our forever (or long-term) home. The house we buy will have adequate storage space (so we don't have to store things in our parents' garages), a master bathroom, and a DISHWASHER.
