@littleredhairedgrl: If you're about 24w I think you're getting to that point where the baby is growing like crazy! So it most likely is a bone thing if that's what you feel like it is.

ETA: Don't Google!!!

Did you say you have an appt tomorrow? Is it with someone you can mention this to? It's most likely normal but probably worth at least mentioning it in passing when they ask you how you're feeling, given that you're having cervix issues.

Yes - normal!! That's exactly how I felt my second/third trimester (the spin class analogy). Some days worse than others.
Honestly, I never found anything that helped. :(
So sorry!!

I think some people found relief with warm baths, and lots of walking to keep your joints open and not stale, but it was just never comfortable for me :(

I'd never tell someone NOT to call their doc if they are worried, but I can tell you that for me it started around 30ish weeks when I started getting that bruised feeling (particularly if I had been standing a while or doing too many stairs or if I'd gone on a walk). I asked my midwife about it last week at my 32 week appointment and she said that it was totally normal as the pelvis works on expanding and the pain will usually feel like bruised/bone type pain right in front of the pelvis, in the hips, and then at the back/center of your pelvis near-ish your tailbone.

Its normal and sadly will be pretty constant from here on out. I'm 37 weeks and it has gotten worse from baby being so low.

Unfortunately all your dr will tell you is to take tylenol if its real bad and try to rest.

I had this, it started PP with A and then went through my pregnancy (was worst in 2nd tri) with E. My OB said it was due to increase in blood flow.

anyone else experience feeling like their pubic bone is bruised? the last few days I feel almost as if I took a spin class and my pubic bone is sore. is this just another symptom of my body expanding or something I should call dr about?
