I always push the button! I'm usually in a rush so sometimes my kids will push the button for fun after I have pushed it. But I don't have enough patience to let it be routine that my kids push the button before anyone else. Plus, there are way too many buttons... When LO first discovered the elevator with buttons and wanted to go over and press the emergency buttons, he cried hysterically when I wouldn't let him. Took me a few times to explain to him so he'd understand we couldn't press those buttons. One reason why I wanted to hold him up and let him press the button to our floor was so he could get it out of his system! :) and @T-Mom: I can't wait for him to grow out of the button phase. Dang.
