We've talked about it a lot with our best friends, who live a few blocks away. Our plans change, though, depending on what kind of zombies show up. If we're talking George Romero zombies (Night of the Living Dead, Diary of the Dead, etc...) it's better to bug out into the country or the woods and stock up on ammo, since they are slow but persistent. If zombies like those in the Resident Evil movies or the ones in 28 days later, it's better to bunker down some where close and super fortified, since those zombies have superhuman speed and strength. If the zombies can die of hunger (like in 28 days later) it's better to wait it out, since they'll eventually starve themselves to death. With any other zombies, though, you have to kill as many as possible right away and start building a new way of life, since they don't die unless you kill them directly. The boat is equipped to purify sea water to be drinkable (doesn't taste great, but gets the salt out), so we wouldn't run out of water until we ran out of gas, haha. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to go to a Wal-Mart if there were zombies around. That is where everyone would try to go to stock up on supplies. It would be zombie city!</p> <p>The only place I would go is the gas station, to get as much gas as possible because once that runs out, no one is coming to re-stock the gas stations, and your car is useless without gas. Then we'd either bunker down at our house, or try to take the back roads to my in-laws who live on a huge plot of private land in West Texas.
