It empowered her, and she felt that it was more positive. That is a beautiful thing. </p> <p>If you don't want to use it to describe your own journey than you don't have to, but I certainly don't think we should put down a term that some mothers want to embrace. Several moms who originally commented that they loved the term might now feel ashamed to use it because of the negative reaction. :(</p> <p>I didn't find the least bit of "formula shaming" in the article. It's the truth. </p> <p>I just wished some would understand that not every body is able to produce what a specific baby needs despite their best efforts.
