Thank you everyone for your responses.

dd mostly sttn now and I set an alarm to wake up to pump but many nights I can't get myself to wake up. I know that's s big contributing factor.. :bummed:

I changed the membranes but i don't think that was it

I will definitely try avocado and Gatorade. And maybe add more fenugreek. But adding more pumping sessions just isn't quite feasible. I pump 20mins at 6am, only 10 mins at 9:30 am because that's all the time I can manage since I'm a teacher, then 20 mins at 12pm. Get home and nurse her at 1:45 or 2pm, 4pm, 7pm. Pump 10pm. And sometimes but not always pump at 2pm.

Have you changed the membranes for your pump? I've heard that makes a big difference and is easy! For me- increasing my pump times and keeping my early am pump on the weekends helped. Good luck! 🍀

Eat lots of avocados! That was a suggestion to me from @avivoca and I could usually see a small difference when I ate them. Good luck, mama.

That's tough! I think by six months it's very hard to increase supply. I've tried. You can try adding a pumping session... it might make some difference. And rest helps, but that's probably not a very helpful suggestion unless you have a good sleeper.

What's your pumping schedule like? Could you be getting your period? Or have you been unusually stressed or sick?

In general, I can boost supply by adding in a pump and/or power pumping in the evening. And drinking Gatorade and making sure I'm getting enough calories.

I'm 7 month in and had a major supply dip this week out of the blue. I have a Skyla, so i don't think it's period related. I added in two additional pumping sessions every day for the week and made sure to continue pumping for a few mins after the milk stopped flowing. I also really focused on drinking a TON of water and getting more calories in. We're at the end of the week and I'm almost back up to normal production. I think you may need to add extra pumping sessions more often than once a week. Also, have you recently changed your pumping schedule? A is finally starting to sleep a bit more at night which I think is a contributing factor (I nurse and pump). I'm not at my magic number anymore, and I might need to keep added pumping sessions as part of my regular routine. https://breastfeedingusa.org/content/article/magic-number-and-long-term-milk-production

@iluvboba637: What is your feeding/pumping schedule like now? Does your LO wake up in the middle of the night for feedings?

Hugs. I was unable to increase my supply at all this time around- ended up supplementing with formula at daycare. LO is 10 months old and still nurses like a champ when we are together.

Anyone successful at increasing their supply at 6months?

I'm so depressed that my supply is dropping. With ds I EP until 13months so this time is definitely a curve ball.

I've tried mothers milk tea. Lactation cookies, oatmeal, a ton of water, more milk plus, power pumping once a week and nothing is working. :crying:
