@brownie: YES! Someone told me to take Calcium Plus Magnesium pills. I take 3 "Calcium Plus 600 with Magnesium & Vitamin D-3" pills from GNC daily. The extra calcium helps a ton during your period. Apparently your body uses a lot of your calcium supply due to the blood loss. Taking just calcium supplements inst enough, bc your body cant absorb it fully. Thats where the magnesium comes in. It acts as a carrier and your body absorbs more, so you use less stored calcium. I take those all month long, and a few days before my period starts, I start taking More Milk Plus tablets or liquid through the end of my period. Supply still suffers a bit, but definitely not as bad as before!

I have had my period since my son was 6 months old. It is starting again. Every time, during my period, my supply tanks. It seems to rebound (now) but my son isn't satisfied when on my period. He can't have milk or soy so formula and whole milk are out to supplement. His supplemental food won't be here until tomorrow. Any suggestions?
