<description>&#60;p&#62;Hugs!! My 14mo had HFM last week. I introduced sidewalk chalk.  I know that's outdoors but maybe you could do crayons or a paint with water mat?  LO couldn't color or draw but she got a kick out of opening the chalk container, picking colors, and watching me draw.  I guess it also depends how much LOs hands hurt.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm at home for the third day with A. who has hand, foot, mouth disease and I'm struggling to keep her entertained. She's super active even when she's sick and we live in an apartment. A walk is out because of the heatwave we have going on. Obviously can't take her to the park or library because she's contagious.&#60;/p&#62;
