She suggested dress up with plenty of items to go around, or painting the outside of the house or sidewalk with water. Turns out having a friend over made all the boring toys fun again. Yes they dumped out ALL of the toys but they had fun all day.<br /> We did some colouring. Had a dance party. Tried on all the shoes. Read all the books. Did some chalk on the patio. So don't underestimate how into her toys she will be. </p> <p>We also like to do finger painting on rainy days (clothes off, in the high chair strapped in!), or play doh.
