My petite 3 year old almost tipped it over the first time she played on it by swinging down from the bar- she wasn't playing wild or anything, I think it's just not a great design that way. But it does get a ton of use and I like having it for them to bounce or some energy, and it feels small enough that I'm not worried about injuries any more than I would be her jumping on the ground. It wasn't very springy and I think that made it less fun. It hardly ever got used by us, I don't think E found it fun at all. Bar or net, all they are going to be able to do is jump up and down. I think the advantage of the net is there is less climbing on and off and trying to jump without holding the bar.
