We do the kitchen sink frequently, we have a kitchen helper and I drape a towel over it and turn on a small stream of water. She will "wash dishes" forever! Funny enough, she also thinks it's great to get in the empty tub and play with buckets of water, this would work in the shower not turned on too. We do color water in various containers, soap and a whisk to make bubbles and ice/colored ice play too. Largely I keep it simple since she's still always amused by it.

If you let your LO play with water inside the house, what do you set up for them? My kids love to play in the water, which we usually just head out to the water table for...but sometimes I need to be inside for whatever reason or it's just too hot out. I currently have them set up on bath towels in the kitchen with a shallow bucket of water and some plastic animals. I would like to come up with some other similar ideas, but still different to keep it fun!
