No advice for starting them at home. I've had prescriptions for starting them before (prometrium, provera, bioidentical progesterone creams). I hate them all. At that time, I didn't care at all about prescriptions or asking questions, so I just took the prescription my OBGYN gave me (I assume it was some kind of hormone). My GP wouldn't even consider inducing my period until it had been about 60 days. Are you sure you ovulated on time?</p> <p>Do you chart at all? I used to and there were definitely some cycles where I didn't ovulate when I was supposed to.
