I went a year needing provera after my miscarriage but all of a sudden I got it on my own. I wasn't ovulating because of PCOS and my cycle was over 60 days. I think docs usually prescribe a hormone to make this happen? I have PCOS, went off bcp 4 months ago and haven't had ANYTHING since; no AF at all, so I assume I also haven't ovulated. I have my preconception/fertility consult/annual checkup with my OBGYN in 2 weeks and I am thinking she will probably prescribe something to at least get my cycles started, and I wonder if anyone has had any experience with this? Is it a one-time only thing, or do you have to keep jump-starting? Thanks so much, getting anxious about the whole thing. </p>
