It's basically a seat that has a 5 point harness like a convertible (ie Britax Marathon) but can eventually be used with your car's seat belt with the back on. Looking for a inexpensive one for the IL's car when #2 is ready to go to a convertible. We plan to move #1 to a 5 point harness and #2 will get #1's Britax Marathon. </p>
