I nursed, but gave him pumped bottles, then switched to formula at 7 mos. At home we do powdered formula, so I've been bringing individual portions of formula powder (in a little baby food dispenser), along with bottles filled with formula water. I'm not sure if there's an easier way to bring along my formula though.
