I took DD to a college football game at 10 months and she barely wore the noise cancelling headphones. And she fell asleep in the carrier. Have fun!

I've taken LO to two games, and the noise really scares him. I would definitely bring ear protection. They were even both day games, so I thought they would be pretty calm.

I'm not sure which stadium you're going to, but the Mariners have a nursing mothers room. It's a great place to get out of the noise and heat. There's a changing table, a refrigerator with water bottles, gliders, and a tv showing the game.

I had a great time with LO at a baseball game when she was around 4 months. She looked around, dozed in the carrier, and wasn't at all bothered by the noise.

The game we took her to at about a year was much tougher because she is crawling but not walking and wasn't happy that she couldn't get down on the ground.

@lawbee11: We are going Sunday too :) I never even thought of the club level! D'oh. Maybe we'll use the Britax carrier instead of the woven one. Definitely a hat!

I think I will be most concerned about her being out in the hot sun for that long especially because she's still too young for sunscreen.

So a wide brim hat and breathable bamboo/muslin blanket to cover her with?

@MrsH: We're taking LO to her first MLB game on Sunday. I'm planning to wear her in the Beco and we don't have headphones for her. Our park has a retractable roof and it'll be in the 90s so I assume the roof will be closed (so I don't have any advice about the outdoors part). I got us tickets in the club level which is air conditioned so I plan to walk LO around and let DH watch the game if she gets fussy. If yours is outdoors I'd definitely have your LO wear a hat. Have fun!

Every time I go to a MLB game I see babies and toddlers there. Most of the babies are being worn by one of the parents.

We took LO to a Yankee/Red Sox game at 10 months. We didn't do headphones. He got upset very briefly when someone scored a home run and the place went nuts, but overall he seemed to really like it. Best advice from our experience is to use the Ergo. Would have been such a pain to have to worry about a stroller.

We are going to an MLB game with LO (4.5 months). I don't think baseball games are very noisy compared to other sports but should she be wearing noise canceling headphones? (Second question on the noise topic....I think I'm paranoid about harming her hearing.)

Any other tips for taking LO to an outdoor event like this?
