Ugh, this is Keira's problem too. I cannot figure out a good nap schedule for her :(
L was awesome and took a 30 minute catnap at 5:15. It's a little too loud at home for K to do that though... haha

That was an annoying age for us too with regards to naps. Xander ended up just going to bed early most of the time. It didn't get better until he was fully ready to transition to two naps.

Is your concern that if he goes to bed at 6pm and wakes 3 hours later that he wont go back to sleep?

Have you tried it?

My DS went to bed at 5:30 many nights around 6 months of age and sure he woke several times to eat but always went back to sleep!

At that age, my LO wasn't sleeping much at daycare, and she would be an exhausted mess by the time I picked her up and got her home. For a looooong time, she napped from 5pm-6:00 ish and often, I would have to wake her to eat dinner and she would be back asleep by 7:30 or so.

That was a weird age for us where we were on two naps, but, really, she needed three, so she ended up with a 6:30/6:45am bedtime more often than not....

For our baby (7 months old), we are having trouble finishing his naps so he can make it through dinner and bath (goal would be a bed time of 7 (7:30 would be even better).

His last nap at daycare seems to be from about 2-3pm. My husband currently picks him up at 4:45 (although I could possibly pick him up at 5:15). When my husband gets him and big sister home, he's wired and can't really get a cat nap in. By the time I get home about 6, he is exhausted and is ready to basically nurse and fall asleep (wake time of 3 hours since is nap).

Any suggestions for how to get a nap in? It would be great if he would fall asleep in the car but with sister next to him he can't really.
