At that point most LOs have a few teeth to check out and we can do education for the parents. Either method is fine. Regular floss is more effective if you're able to wrap it around the tooth, but you might not be able to use it with a sqirmy toddler, so the floss picks might be a better option. Luckily most baby teeth have spacing so they're easier to clean between them.</p> <p>The more you introduce and practice with flossing the easier it will become. You can even massage his gums with finger brush. You can either use water or the infant toothpaste. You only need a very small dot on the end of the massager/brush.
