Here are pictures from me.

The top left is birth and the bottom right is now (14 months old). The progression is too left to right then bottom left to right.

LO#2 had really bad squished looking ears. We were really worried that he wouldn't grow out of them. No one even mentioned his ears at all to us! Finally we bought it up to our doctor and he said that they will most likely correct themselves. For months it didn't seem like it was getting better.

At about 8 months they started looking normal. At almost 14 months they look pretty normal now. I'll try to post pictures later if I have any.

@oliviaoblivia: my hope/wish is that it does grow in normally but I'd feel really really really bad if it doesn't and I missed the window of opportunity for non-surgical assistance. Glad to hear your LO's did!!

DD1 had one squashed ear. It stayed like that for the first few weeks and then grew in normally. I had her screened at one week but the doctor thought it would be OK without an ear well.
I don't have any pictures.

@Alivoo01: We didn't find out about the ear well until my son was too old for it, but we will be using it (if necessary) for LO2 who is on the way. DS was the perfect candidate they said, it was just too late due to the cartilage having formed too much by the age we discovered it. We have already met with a plastic surgeon and the summer before kindergarten we will have his ears pinned. Feel free to PM me for pictures (unless you have me on IG in which case it's almost all J) ;)

This probably isn't that helpful but my daughter has an ear abnormality, but the type that she has wouldn't be altered with an ear well. (if she wants to fix it down the road she will need a graft)
However, when we were waiting for the plastic surgeon, another lady in the waiting room was showing me photos of the change her son had and it was amazing! It was the first time I had ever seen anything like that. She said he tolerated it very well FWIW

If your LO had an ear deformity at birth, did you get them fitted for an ear well or did they eventually outgrow the deformity? What made you decide on your decision?

If you got the ear well, how long did they have to wear it? Pictures would be great too, if you don't mind sharing them.
