If I'm in the bedroom or shower she naps on the bed or in the RNP, if I'm in the kitchen or living room it's the swing or in the boppy on the couch, and if I'm trying to clean I'll put her in her crib. She will sleep all day in her carseat. She sleeps the least in the crib, so we really need to work on getting her comfortable in there. I'm going to try for more crib naps this week. But he really started to outgrow that. By about 4.5 months, we were able to start getting him to nap consistently in the crib.</p> <p>For what it's worth, he used to only sleep for 30 minutes maximum in the crib before 4.5 months. We just kept at it after that point, and he finally started to sleep longer here or there. I think it's just them getting used to it for nap time. Right now the only place he'll sleep at all is the rock n play because I can rock him to sleep. He'll sleep in the car seat as long as we're moving and we bring it inside with him in it if he's still asleep so sometimes we get 30 extra minutes that way. If he falls asleep on us it's usually only for 5-10 minutes (especially me, he smells milk And it wakes him up lol). Same with lying next to me in bed, he falls asleep nursing, pops off and dozes for 10 minutes before trying to get back on.</p> <p>We havent transitioned him to his crib for anything because he still needs to be soothed to sleep and it can take a while in our arms. We started around 3 months putting him in there for naps. it's taken time, but we've got a little nap routine down and he'll go down pretty easy. BUT he only sleeps 30-40 minutes. </p> <p>Other places he naps are in my arms or in my bed. I just hold him if he falls asleep nursing or if I want to nap too, I take him to our bed to nurse him. He'll nap for a good 1 hour+ in my arms or in bed with me. He's napped in bed upwards of 3 hours before.
