He loved it! I had him on tummy time for a little bit first then put him in. He laid there looking extremely adorable, moving his head left and right and softly coo-ing for 15-20 mind then he fell asleep by himself! And slept 4 hours. Then 3 more hours, then another 3. Amazing. We stopped the 3rd week. Then again, he wasn't flinging his arms madly at the time. I think I cringe at the process because he'll cry as I try to swaddle him, and that prob takes longer than me just holding him. I go nuts going between two kids, hoping he won't wake up his sister. The only other issue is, it's pretty hard to BF him swaddled up, but we have perfected the side laying nursing, so maybe we can just do that too....I'll see how tonight goes. When he gets really frustrated he punches or scratches himself. When he's really hysterical I have to swaddle him or hold his arms down and rock him. This is the only time I actually have to follow the 5 s's. I would maybe give the swaddle another go. Some babies hate the process of getting swaddled, but do better once they are actually settled down in the swaddle. That looks cute.<br /> This week he came down with a mild cold, with some sinus issues. Last night seem to be rough for him, he's normally a pretty mellow baby, milk or holding him would calm him down, but last night he wouldn't stop flinging his arms, and because his hand/arm control is still immature, he's sometimes punching himself. I have to run over to cuddle him or place my hands on his. That usually works to soothe him back to sleep. Not last night, as soon as I place him down, flinging left and right, and bawls louder if I attempt to swaddle his arms to the side. My guess is.he's frustrated by his sinus and possibly his itchy eczema on his left cheek. I've check his temperature and ears, all normal.</p> <p>Anyone have any tips to help him feel better.<br /> I do try to saline and use nose Frida on him before he sleeps for the night.<br /> He's drinking milk just fine, so probably just need to let this pass, just wish I can make him feel better. Hopefully tonight will be better! He was up every hour last night. </p>
