We have both -- the caddy is great for the mall, but it kinda sucks outside. It can't handle slush or snow and bumpy side walks throw it for a loop. It IS very light, easy to stash in the car, and has a huge basket for storage.

I see you want to baby wear when you go out which is great. And I did that sometimes too, but when we got somewhere and he was sleeping in his car seat, it was nice to just click it into the caddy and not disturb him. And it was a lot easier too.

If its just for walks around the neighborhood, I would get the adapter for the BOB. If you're planning to drive places and use a stroller, I would get the caddy. Is both not an option? I have the caddy and a BOB. I didn't buy my BOB until LO was almost 4 months so I didn't see the point in the adapter at that point. I was using the caddy for walks prior to that, and it was so bumpy! Any little bump in the curb, would wake him up. But the caddy was so awesome for errands. We still use it and my son is 7 months.

Will you be driving places and want him in a stroller when you get there? If so, I would think the Caddy would be the way to go. You can probably buy one used for cheap, too (I bought a Snap and Go that my Graco carseat snaps into for $30 the second day I was looking for one on craigslist).

I have the Caddy and Bob and I used the Caddy so much more. It is light, folds up well and has a decent sized basket. We used it from birth until LO was 7 months.

@regberadaisy: I thought about that too! He may hate being carried, especially as hot as it gets here in the summer.

I wonder if there is a cheaper universal adapter you could get that would work? Bc not all babies like being carried, M didn't!

I'm torn on whether we should get the infant seat adaptor for our BOB stroller or get the Chicco KeyFit caddy stroller base. We plan on using our Ergo and Moby as much as possible, so that factors in. Our stroller use will mostly be outdoor walks in our neighborhood. In your opinion, which is the better option?
